Pedestrian Crossing on Old Shoreham Road (June 2006)

A new ‘green man’ pedestrian crossing has been introduced after a successful campaign by residents and Goldsmid Ward Labour Councillors.

The crossing is on Old Shoreham Road at the junction with Fonthill Road. Councillors organised a petition first of all back in 2003 and brought the issue to Council several times since then.

We are also backing calls for a safe crossing at BHASVIC school where Dyke Road and Old Shoreham Road meet.
