One World Living Day:
Major Climate Change debate comes to Goldsmid
(October 2006)

By Simon Battle

Hove Labour MP Celia Barlow hosted a successful One World Living Day at Ralli Hall in Denmark Villas on 14 October.

The event brought together organisations, individuals and businesses to exchange expert advice and information about green products and ways of saving energy in the home. Participants were able able to take part in a debate at this event with the Minister of Climate Change Ian Pearson MP, alongside other speakers.

Celia has launched a campaign in Hove & Portslade to encourage people to take an ENERGY PLEDGE to take simple steps to save energy, one of which allows you to receive a full personalised report of your home energy use. You can make the pledge by text, email or post and Celia will send you information about how you can save energy in your home and an application for your free home audit.

More information about Celia's climate change initiative can be found on her website by following this link.
