Network Rail Tree clearance policy brought to Councillors

Network Rail's trail of destruction in the Goldsmid Cutting was brought to Environment Committee on 15 March. We spoke in support of the letter calling for the Council to condemn Network Rail's actions and seek ways of joint working in the future. In her response Chair Councillor Gill Mitchell said Network Rail had refused to sign a joint-working protocol with the City Council involving the Wildlife Advisory Group and the Sustainability Commission.
