It's Oh So Quiet . . . the Goldsmid Tories (March 2007)Ssshhhhh… Have you heard anything from Goldsmid Conservatives in the past year? Goldsmid is the Tories’ top target in the City but they are nowhere to be seen. No newsletters. No surveys. No campaigns. If candidates have been active in an area in the months and years before elections, generally those people will go onto become effective councillors in their communities – whatever the party they represent. If you only hear from political parties in the month or so before the election, then you’ll have absentee councillors after the election.
